This Privacy Policy explains how rechardev ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use our mobile application Phone Doctor – Device Check & Diagnostics (the "App"), available on Google Play.

1. Information We Collect

The App does not require registration and does not create user accounts.

1.1 Diagnostic data (processed locally)

All hardware diagnostic information (battery, sensors, display, storage, connectivity, etc.) is read from your device's operating system only to perform the diagnostics you request. This information is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. We do not have access to your diagnostic results, reports, or crash logs unless you choose to share them yourself (for example, using the Share or Export PDF features).

1.2 Advertising data (Google AdMob)

The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may collect and use:

• Your device's advertising identifier (advertising ID);
• Device information such as model, operating system version, and language;
• Approximate coarse location derived from IP address;
• Data related to your interaction with ads (views, clicks).

This information is collected by Google under Google's own Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store your advertising ID directly.

1.3 Permissions

• Camera – used only when you run the camera and flashlight tests.
• Microphone – used only when you run the microphone test.
• Location – used only when you run the GPS test.
• Nearby devices (Bluetooth) – used only to display Bluetooth status.
• Network state – used to show connectivity information and to load advertisements.

Permissions are requested only at the moment the related test runs. Denying a permission only skips that specific test and does not limit the rest of the App.

2. Data Storage and Retention

Diagnostic reports, crash logs and app settings are stored locally on your device only. They are permanently removed when you uninstall the App or clear its data. We do not operate servers that store your personal data.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Google AdMob (Google LLC) – advertising. Google's use of advertising identifiers enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites and applications. You may review Google's Privacy & Terms here:

• Google Play Services – core Android framework services.

4. Your Choices and Controls

• Ad personalization: You can limit ad personalization through Google Ads Settings:

• Opt out of interest-based advertising:

• In-app consent management: Where required by law (for example in the EEA/UK), a consent message is shown before ads load. You can review or change your advertising privacy choices at any time from the App: Settings → Manage Ad Privacy Options.
• Uninstall: Removing the App deletes all locally stored data, including diagnostic reports and crash logs.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

6. Security

Because all diagnostic data stays on your device, it is protected by your device's own security mechanisms. We do not transmit diagnostic data over the internet. Advertising is handled entirely by Google under its own security standards.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
